FEBRUARY REVOLUTION OF 1917 - AN EARTHQUAKE IN EUROPEAN HISTORY



8th March is a Remarkable Day in Russian History . On This Day of 1917 the February  Revolution Started ( The Revolution Occurred in March but according to the Julian Calendar which is Thirteen Days Behind the Gregorian Calendar which is using by Western Countries. Russia used the Julian Calendar at that time). Was the First two revolutions of Russia in 1917 which is centerd on Petrograd ( Now St.Petersburg). This Revolution Leads to the End of the Russian Monarchy by Overthrowing the Czar King Nicholas II . Czar Replacer by a Russian Provinsional Government under the Leadership of Prince  Georgy Lvov .
May be we heard  about the Russian revolution . what is it..?,  What are the causes ..?
Russian Revolution is an uprising of the Workers and Peasants against the Russian King Czar Nicholas II. At that time the Country has faced a lot of Economical and Social Problems after the impact of First world war.
In 1905 Russia experienced a humiliating loss in it’s war with Japan. This divided the people from the monarchy. The war resulted a huge Economical problems. A number of workers and Peasants committed suicides . but these factors will not affected the autocratic rule of Czars. The King and the Landlords enjoyed a Luxurious Life . Actually the Country Ruled by the Alexandra Feodorovna  ( Alix of Hesse) the Queen of Czar Nicholas II . She is Controlled by a Saint Gregory Rasputin . The feelings against the monarchy leads to the  Revolution. The signs of the revolution First started in a Russian ship Potemnkin  at Odessa Port by a group of Naval Officers .
The Immediate cause of the revolution is the Bloody Sunday ie, A Group of Unarmed Workers and Peasants Fired by the Soldiers at St. Petersburg . then the revolution started .and after the Decision of Czar to Join in First world war  . The war made the country’s problem in a greater  way. And finally it lead to the overthrown of the Monarchy.
Aftermath of the February Revolution
In July the Provincsional Government was Replaced by Alexander Kerensky. But the Kerensky Government Failed to satisfy the Russian People and He Failed to make a consistency in the Economy . These Factors Leads the Second Popular Revolution ie , October Revolution. Which is lead by Bolsheviks (Communists)  Under the Leadership of Vladimir Lenin and the Formation of Union of Soviet Socialist Republics Happened.
